About Wernsing Food Solutions

Wernsing Food Solutions imports, stocks and sells products from Sweden, Europe and the rest of the world. As our company name suggests, we strive to be involved in fulfilling our customers’ needs for food products. Together we create attractive solutions to our customers’ challenges when it comes to finding the right items, at the right prices and with the best possible logistics solution.

Our suppliers are both our own group companies and specially selected external suppliers and the range consists of more than 400 items in ambient, chilled and frozen.

Wernsing Food Solutions not only represents group-owned brands, but we also help our customers to develop products under their own brands

Our customers can be found among wholesalers in restaurants & catering, food producers, the public sector and the grocery trade. The head office and our central warehouse are located in Skara, but our sales representatives are represented all over the country, supporting our customers and business partners.

Ever since our inception in 1985, then under the name GG Handel i Skara AB, we at Wernsing Food Solutions have built up secure and long-term customer relationships, based on a wide range of quality products, attractive prices and high delivery reliability.

We have been part of the family-owned European food group, Wernsing Food Family, since 2014, and we can be proud of having access to more than 50 of our own factories in 9 European countries. In Addrup-Essen, Germany, lies the heart of the group’s operations with extensive production and development, warehousing and distribution, and most
of the group’s functions.

In Sweden, we have two sister companies, Vätternpotatis AB and Varbergsköket AB. Vätternpotatis processes potatoes and produces various potato products such as gratins and salads. Varbergsköket produces mayonnaise, mayonnaise-based salads, dressings and sauces.

Within our group, we have high demands on food safety, taste, quality and value for money for our products.We work with environmental awareness, long-term perspective, professionalism and a high spirit of service to meet our customers’ demands and expectations.
